Wall positions, drainage run positions, floor levels, anything that is critical in its position or level datum to the overall construction.

Other applications include highways and drainage surveys for housing developers. These form part of an agreement between developer and local authority and are a final record of construction. Two common types of agreements are a ‘section 104’ agreement, formed between developer and local water authority and a ‘section 38’ agreement, entered into by developer and the local council responsible for the maintenance of highways.
