William Morris Surveys is a well established survey company which operates nationally and is based in the East Midlands.
We offer a wide range of services to both commercial and private clients.
Founded in 2016, William Morris Surveys (WMS) is a professional geomatic survey company based in Derbyshire, delivering services that include topographical, measured and quantity surveys to companies and clients nationwide.
All our staff hold CSCS safety cards and we are a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

Topographical
Surveys
As the starting point of most projects, here at William Morris Surveys we understand the critical nature of delivering accurate survey results.
Rest assured that with our knowledge and experience, topographical surveys are carried out with the care and due diligence to allow our clients the best start to any project.
Measured Building Surveys
Included within the scope of a measured building survey are floor plans, elevation drawings and cross sectional drawings.
As with all of our services, digital plans can be tailored to meet the needs of the client whether the purpose be conveyancing, service mapping or building conversions.
Quantity
Surveys
Our quantity surveys are based on a topographical site survey data. By utilising 3D ground modelling software we are able to deliver accurate volume information to our clients.
Cut and fill exercises can be costly, quantity surveys allow our clients to reduce estimating errors, and in turn save time and money.
Engineering
Services
Site engineering can include GPS/grid control, marking out and monitoring services.
As a part of this service we are happy to liaise with structural engineers and architects to ensure correct positing takes place.
As Constructed
Surveys
This type of survey has several applications, including monitoring the progress of a large project and ensuring that discrepancies are picked up along the way.
Wall positions, drainage run positions, floor levels, anything that is critical in its position or level datum to the overall construction.
Laser
Scanning
Once a premium service, laser scanning is being integrated more and more into the work flow of all survey types.
This includes measured building surveys, as constructed surveys, project monitoring with quality auditing as well as stockpile quantity and quarry surveys.
